More text paintings!
I decided to use Gustave Moreau (my favorite artist) for reference, this is based on one of his paintings of Salome.

Funny thing, the next page I ripped from the book (at a very random spot in the book) included the word "Gustave Moreau" - this is a fiction, I have no clue what its about, but Moreau was mentioned.

This is the image I painted on that next page - [link] -- not a Moreau copy, but I painted my other muse, to make it more personal.

I like the textures in her clothing in this piece however her body construction seems under par for you. I know you can do better. Here her face and arms seem rigid and not well developed. The colors and the hinted at background are good though. You gave enough detail in the background to give us idea but not enought to distract from her figure.
