I think this is one of my favorite digital works from you. it lacks the quality of over done that so many digital pieces can have. very cool lydia.

exactly you might make some good art and at the very least you are building your skills.

BUILD!! :D

fun to see it making progress.

btw - meant to say that I really like the 'tada' list idea on the last comment, but I pressed send before I meant to and not sure where the comment originated.
Thanks!

to become great we wake up every day and do those things we learned when first starting.

and I think the tada list is awesome. it turns a positive out of a negative.

when I first tried to start a ta-da list (in england), I'd put smily faces next to productive days and sad faces next to non-productive days, and it got depressing. Next time I tried, I just stuck to the facts. heh. ;)

You captured the freedom and beauty of your traditional work very well in the digital media. Excellent job there :)

Ho, this is quite the opposite of the vision of seeing I had for the last one! Although the lack of eyes seems so often to give it's own kind of ability to see. ...The void in it's gaze would likely be the exact opposite of creation, consuming and decomposing things away from existence.

indeed. There is a lot of mythology of ... things with no eyes being somewhat evil. I can understand the deep fear associated with empty eye sockets, perhaps as a reminder of death.

I'm trying to think what other features you could remove, but the lack of eyes really is the most prominent. Eyes just are so important to us. No matter what kind of creature you make, the eyes are going to draw attention - whether they are normal or something else.

This reminds me of the little spirits from Princess Mononoke, except creepier. *grin*

looks traditional. I also like it cause it's trippy like the multiple cavernous wormholes of the mind.
