Trying out a watercolor and ink cutout figure to place on top of acrylic textures, rather than trying to paint on top of it.
This idea was recently re-instilled into my head after buying a Patrick Woodroffe book. I used to use this technique a LONG time ago, but forgot about it!

anyway. she's dancing.
and she might just be an underwater sea creature. or a tree girl. or a dream.
