Ok, having a lot of fun with photos lately.

(and contests)

After reading about the surreal photo contest I trotted out into the woods today and had fun. My cat even followed and posed for me. perhaps I'll post another pic or two.

background story behind pic - mother placed doors in our woods. just for fun and the love of art. Weve had some good storms this spring, and today I discovered that one of the doors shattered. makes for good photos.

VERY nice!
I like pictures of shadows like that one.
And the blue on the door just adds up to it.
Something to add to my favorites!

i have an idea for this one. you see how the hand is extending outwards, make it so that the rest of the shadow is behind the blue frame work of the window. simply; manip in photoshop and drag the blue over some of the shadow (where the frame would link up and close her behind the window)

also, crop off more to the right where we know the camera's being held :3

this image is pretty neat, i love the use of props and that blue is gorgeous against the leaves.

that IS a good idea, If I try it Ill let you know. ;)
also, there are no props, well, unless you count the natural distruction of a man made object placed as a prop years ago by another artist. :D - the door has been standing in the woods for years and fell over recently in a storm. :)

I am interested to know if you have plans to run this through Photoshop filters and manipulate this in any way? You have such vision and style that I think it would add a dramatic twist to an already interesting piece. Doors of perception...

hm... its always a possibility, but I have no further visions for it at the moment. however, if YOU have any visions for it, I would give you permission to use it, as well as anyone else belonging to the... ordered chaos club. *grin* hehe.
