The Emerald Ghost

8"x10" acrylic, and colored pencil, and some tissue paper.
Layers and layers, playing with color and shape, till eventually I decided to paint a luna moth on top. I wrote an accompanying poem.

*The Emerald Ghost*

Traverse the heavens,
past the mind
jump the rails
of conscious find.

Slip inside
the Saturniid,
the emerald ghost,
the jade feather kid.

See with soul
the visions rare
forever keep
this unique fare.
